Business English training offered by CLS aids to develop key language skills in specific business language areas based on a teaching programme that is either designed or selected to cater for individual needs and goals. The teaching process is streamlined along the lines of structured competences contained in a particular course book and transferred onto the student through the communicative method, which leverages and structures language-knowledge acquisition, creating a challenging, diversified and highly natural environment for its usage and practice.

Specific Business English

The practical knowledge of corporate terminology enhances the communication process within the company and enables faster employee development through access to the latest global developments and, subsequently, their prompt implementation. Personnel self-confidence improves considerably in the process, which has a positive influence on company image as a global partners, while interacting with other business entities.

 

General English

When designing Standard English training, we primarily strive to adjust our courses to the effective working patterns of our client so as not to disrupt the day-to-day activity of the office. The training materials are selected from leading publishing houses, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Macmillan or Pearson, and aided by a series of individually selected topics to suit the needs and requirements of the participants. The communicative method and limited group-size guarantee relatively good progress. The training goals and priorities are to be established in cooperation with our client’s HR Training Department in order to align these with the employee’s development plan or career path.

 

Succinct BE and GE training

Succinct Business English & General English training – a series of succinct and intensive language training courses - have been developed with those thinking of making good progress in speaking and understanding English fast and those whose language skills are going rusty in mind. The training consists of a five-hour course held daily with a selected group of students at the same language level. Only preselected and relevant skills are focused on and developed, such as:

• The English Tenses – a short review
• HR language – selected issues
• Logistics language  – selected issues
• Basic Business English correspondence

 

Lead-up to Professional Examinations

The lead-up to an international language examination in the given area of specialization requires focus, structure and well-selected materials. Based on a series of publications available on the market, we offer training courses supporting the learning process for individual employees leading up to all recognized international examinations.
